The teaching without words……….

From the Tao Te Ching (Lao Tsu)

Tao/Reality

Te/Power

Ching/A Classic Book

The softest thing in the world

Overwhelms the hardest thing in the world

Things-without-fullness

Can penetrate

Things-without-an-opening

Thus I understand the benefits of not-doing

The teaching without words

And the benefits of not-doing

Can rarely be found

In the world

Lesson of the Day/ Remember to be like water………..

Our lesson of the day………….

Remember to be like water………………

Master Ding and new student J. Clinton Wall practice Tui Shou “Pushing Hands” with a focus on the Foundation Principle of Peng, especially in the areas of the heart, shoulders, elbows, even sacrum, as the energy of the Taiji ball flows from one to another, earth to sky and around again……….

Remember to be like water

Mighty as the river

Quite as the dew, formed from residue of night

Unattached as each rivulet of rain to its destination

How close the caverned sea pool holds the moon in its belly, shimmering

Remember to be like water

Little beads of life flow in circles to their origin,

Earth to sky

Earth to sky………….

Remember to sign up for the “Fine Art of Peng”, Saturday, April 14th, intensive workshop for all forms and levels of Taiji.  Don’t miss this chance to receive in-depth instruction through specific posture application and pushing hands, moving and standing meditation, and learning to sense energy flow patterns.

Register by April 5th  $100

Register by April 13th  $125

Remember that Grand Master Ding teaches not only the Chen, Chen Hong Form and Chaquan of his lineages, but also Yang, Sun, and Wu styles of traditional Taiji learned from various Masters in China throughout his long life of study. Stay tuned to the pages of this site as his biography unfolds and we present new pages about each chapter of his life and study.

Please drop by the Club for Saturday morning Tui Shou class (first class complimentary) any time to meet Master Ding and receive hands-on advise and enlightenment to help deepen your practice, in any form.
